Raising up the Name of Jesus! Raising walls for a New Church Building!
Dodge’s Community Church Building is going up fast!
Praise God for all His wonderful blessings as He raises Dodge’s Community Church up from the ashes of the 2020 Riverside Fire. This picture is a few days old but it gives you a good idea how fast construction is progressing on the new church building at Dodge. The roof beams may be going up this week. Construction crews are making good use of the great weather, with an eye toward having the shell of the building buttoned up before typical winter weather arrives

Remember to Honor Your Pastor this Month!
If your church missed honoring your pastor on Pastor Appreciation Sunday (October 9), you still have time! All of October is Pastor Appreciation Month. Please take some time to show “double honor” to those who are serving you as they serve the Lord. (1 Timothy 5:17)
Sunday’s service was a blessing at Shiloh Basin Community Church!
Thanks elder Scott Brownlow for inviting me and Caroline to share the Word and music with the congregation. This coming Sunday, October 16, I will have the honor of speaking to Hudson Park Bible Church, another fellowship in our far Northwest corner. That will be my third trip west on Highway 30 in seven days, including the NWxNW fellowship meeting tomorrow. If I didn’t have appointments back in Portland and the eastern portion of the field at other times this week, I probably would have just camped out in Rainier for the duration. But behind the scenes I am working quickly to get some details together to help two of our churches with pastoral searches, before I head to North Carolina at the end of the month for InFaith’s annual Refresh conference. My goodness! October filled up fast! Of course everything I have planned is: “if the Lord wills!” (James 4:15) I know He could change my plans in an instant. As He could change yours too! It is a bit of relief to know that no matter how things progress…He is in charge, not me!
May the Lord bless you in your service to Him this week!
