Merry Christmas!
This is likely to be our last “weekly memo” of 2023, so Caroline and I would like to take this opportunity to thank every one of you friends and supporters for your prayers and participation in ministry with us. It is a joy to serve alongside you as we proclaim salvation through Jesus Christ!

Let’s Sing “Away in a Manger”…in an actual manger!
George Community Church and the Smith family invite you to their community Christmas this Wednesday night. The music and merriment begin at 6:30 PM at the Smith’s Barn on Belfils Road in the community of George (just outside Estacada). Caroline and I plan to be there, singing alongside friends we have cherished for decades, about a Savior we will cherish for eternity!

Pray without Ceasing:
Please be in prayer this week for Pastors Merle Davis (formerly of Bridal Veil Community Church) and Jason Young (Dover Community Church). Merle was admitted to Southwest Medical Center in Vancouver on Sunday after experiencing numbness on one side of his body. He is now said to have suffered a ”light” stroke.

Jason Young is flying to Oklahoma City this week for a procedure to correct heart arrythmia. May the Lord touch both men with healing and a quick recovery.

Let us joyfully proclaim that the Savior has come and is coming again!
