NEWSFLASH! Breshears to speak at Advance 2026

After a great Zoom conversation this morning (Monday) with Dr. Gerry Breshears of Western Seminary in Portland, I can now confirm that Gerry and his wife Sherry will be joining us for Advance 2026, January 9-11 at Twin Rocks Friends Camp and Conference Center.   Mark your calendars today!   The Breshears have worked side-by-side in ministry and marriage for the past 57 years: Gerry as a professor of theology and Sherry as a Christian counselor. Gerry also currently serves as an elder at Grace Church in Gresham, Oregon.  Our preliminary discussions have the couple speaking in four sessions at Advance addressing the unique blessings and challenges of ministry marriage, views of women in ministry leadership, and managing transitions in ministry.  Be prepared to be blessed by the wisdom of these two faithful servants of Christ.  To learn more about Gerry and Sherry and their many years of ministry together, go to www.breshears.net .

Advance is InFaith: Northwest Oregon’s annual getaway for pastors, church leaders, missionaries and their spouses to rest, refresh and renew their passion for the ministries to which God has called them.  Registration will be open in November. 

Sandy Fellowship Breakfast coming this Wednesday!
We are looking forward to another great time of fellowship this Wednesday, May 21 at 9AM at Tollgate Inn in Sandy, Oregon.  Come join in the friendly fellowship as ministry leaders from a number of small churches gather to build one another up over a sumptuous no-host meal.

 NWxNW meets May 27th
The InFaith NWXNW ministry leaders fellowship meets this month at the Brownlow home in Clatskanie, Tuesday, May 27th from 3-5 PM.
