Ministry on the Move!
Pastor Robert Klukas, Columbia Bible Church
Dear Friends of InFaith: Northwest Oregon,
I had the privilege of worshipping at Columbia Bible Church (Rainier) this Sunday. Pastor Robert Klukas did an excellent job introducing his series of messages on the paradox of suffering and providence (“Why do bad things happen in a world created by a good God?”) The series continues for the next two Sundays at CBC, 407 E 2nd Street, Rainier, OR. The service starts at 10:30 AM.
While I was away in Rainier Sunday, my darling wife Caroline helped lead worship at Aims Community Church, next door to our house. It is encouraging to know our home church continues to support and pray for the ministry of InFaith: Northwest Oregon, especially when I am on the road.
This coming Sunday, July 13, we will be serving at Woodland Park Chapel (Portland) while Pastor Brad Gentry and his wife Susan are away. Elder Alan Baumgarden will lead the service, while Caroline leads music and I will bring the message from Paul’s letter to Philemon. All are welcome to join in, starting at 11 AM Sunday at WPC, 1914 NE102nd Ave, Portland, OR. The following week, July 20th, we will be at Mountain Home Church (Colton).
Between those two services, I look forward to joining with several church leaders and pastors from the east part of our field for the monthly InFaith: Northwest Oregon Sandy Fellowship Breakfast, Wednesday July 16th . You are invited to be a part of this no-host meal and friendly exchange of ideas starting at 9 AM at Tollgate Inn in Sandy, OR.
And on July 19th, I hope to see some of you at the Columbia Community Bible Church yard sale, 9:00-3:00 at Columbia Community Bible Church, 420 NE Marine Drive, Portland, OR.
